The Graphic Design Specialist is responsible conceptualising and producing complex graphic design/motion graphics/artwork as well as giving technical support to enhance all aspects of multimedia production inclusive of photography, videography, illustration, and final product packaging.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
ü NVQ-J Level 5 Certification or Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field or equivalent
ü At least two (2) years relevant experience in motion graphics and animation, creative media and digital media
KEY COMPETENCIES:
ü Proficient in a wide range of media formats and design software technologies.
ü Creative and detail oriented
ü Be conversant with media archival systems and workflows
KEY DUTIES:
ü Designs layouts and processes to deliver a wide range of visual assets/materials and produce documents from design concept to final format
ü Creates graphic design materials for print and online environments, including websites, handouts, posters, newsletters, signage, advertisements, digital marketing assets, etc
ü Records talent audio and mixing
ü Remains current by generating engaging, memorable visual and copy concepts by researching design trends and best practices, new technologies and applications
ü Produces motion graphics and animation
ü Translates concepts in order to create appropriate materials
ü Produces design concepts
ü Develops user-friendly templates and provide support to internal teams on working with templates and adhering to corporate brand standards
ü Applies industry workflows and standards to projects
ü Carries out equipment inventory and tracking
ü Streamlines media production
ü Liaises with clients on post production needs
ü Contributes to the development, maintenance and updating of graphics, visual identity usage, and logo guidelines as required.
ü Provide advice on the development of presentation-ready material and customizing of graphics and other publication and promotional needs
ü modify the curriculum for a certificate program involving a series of courses
