The Graphic Artist will use artistic knowledge and skills and computer software to create visual designs for the Dachin Restaurants using various media, including print, digital, and multimedia.

GRAPHIC ARTIST

Job Summary

The Graphic Artist will use artistic knowledge and skills and computer software to create visual designs for the Dachin Restaurants using various media, including print, digital, and multimedia. He / She will be responsible for enhancing the Company’s marketing, advertising, and branding efforts through the application of graphic design.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaises with relevant stakeholders to create layouts for restaurant and Company promotions and events.           
• Researches the target audience of projects.
• Creates designs, concepts, and sample layouts.
• Uses computer software to generate new images.     
• Develops graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and web sites.    
• Reviews final layouts and suggest improvements, as needed.          
• Prepares digital files for printing.      
• Performs other job-related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or a Diploma in Visual Communications Design or a related certificate.

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of practical experience in graphic design.
• Experience using computer aided design software.
• Experience with food-related photography will be as asset.

Work Environment:

The work is primarily office-based with occasional visits to restaurant locations as needed. Regular communication with stakeholders such as Directors, Restaurant Managers and Chefs is essential to ensure accuracy.
