The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, inventory management and distribution of Finished Goods, Raw Materials and Packaging Materials.

Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control
• Supervise the receipt, storage, picking, staging and dispatch of Finished Goods, Raw Materials and Packaging Materials
• Verify goods received against purchase orders, shipping documents, transfer notes and system records
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately processed in the ERP system in real time
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliations and physical inventory counts
• Enforce proper stock rotation practices including FIFO and FEFO
• Ensure proper labelling, storage and segregation of allergen and non-conforming materials
• Monitor warehouse conditions to ensure compliance with storage requirements and housekeeping standards
Production, Distribution & Export Support
• Coordinate the timely issue of materials to Production Departments
• Supervise order picking and preparation of Finished Goods for local distribution and export shipments
• Ensure containers and incoming shipments are inspected and documented according to required procedures
• Ensure goods dispatched are accurate, properly labelled and free from damages
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure customer and operational requirements are met efficiently
Compliance, GMP & Safety
• Ensure adherence to GMP, Food Safety and Quality Management System procedures
• Enforce warehouse safety procedures and proper equipment usage
• Conduct routine warehouse inspections and address unsafe acts or conditions
• Ensure forklifts and warehouse equipment are inspected and operated safely
• Promote a culture of safety awareness, accountability and continuous improvement
• Ensure sanitation schedules and warehouse cleaning programmes are maintained
Staff Supervision & Leadership
• Supervise, train and mentor warehouse personnel
• Conduct daily operational briefings and monitor employee performance
• Coordinate staff assignments to ensure operational efficiency
• Address operational and disciplinary matters in accordance with company procedures
• Foster teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement within the department
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or related field   or
  • CIPS Certification (Diploma / Advanced Level 3 and above)

Experience

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in warehouse, inventory or logistics operations
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
  • ERP system experience is required
  • Experience conducting inventory counts, reconciliations and warehouse reporting
  • Supervisory experience in a warehouse environment would be an asset
