Associated Brands Industries Limited (ABIL) is the leading manufacturer and distributor of snack foods, chocolate confectionery, biscuits and breakfast cereals in the Caribbean. The Company has been in existence since 1974 and over the years has built up an extensive portfolio of brands including a range of about two hundred and sixteen (216) sku’s under the brand names Sunshine Snacks, Charles Candy, Devon Biscuits and Sunshine and Universal Cereals. |

To support production by maintaining all plant equipment by means of effective troubleshooting, and routine predictive, preventative and corrective maintenance.
To perform a fundamental role in the development and maintenance of infrastructure at ABIL.
The Engineering Assistant provides critical administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of the Maintenance Department.
To oversee the health and safety portfolio of the division, ensuring compliance with all local and international standards.
To conduct, maintain, test, adjust, calibrate and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components, and to provide skilled electronic support to all areas of the Company’s operations.
To oversee the activities of sections within the Accounts Department; provide supervision and guidance to junior staff and provide financial reports to management by researching and analysing accounting data.
The primary responsibilities of a Plant Accountant include maintaining accurate books on accounts payable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
