As an EMT you’ll be the first point of contact in emergency medical situations, providing pre-hospital care and transport.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and safely to emergency calls.
Provide high-quality medical care in accordance with EMT protocols and company standards.
Assess patients, administer basic life support (BLS), and transport them to medical facilities.
Accurately document patient information, care provided, and response details.
Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and inventory of emergency vehicles and equipment.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical personnel, and patients.
Remain calm, compassionate, and professional in high-stress situations.
Requirements:
Current EMT certification (State and/or National Registry).
CPR/BLS certification (AHA or equivalent).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina and ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as an EMT in 911 or interfacility transport.
Additional certifications (e.g., EVOC, ACLS, PALS) are a plus.
