Course Details

The Nutrition and Dietetics programme aims to:

  1. Prepare graduates to be competent entry level dietitians of professional practice – to include individuals who have completed all of the prerequisites as well as core course requirements and clinical training experiences and competences, attained a minimum academic education level of a Bachelor of Science degree and have taken and passed the registration examination (ADA) for dietitians are declared a registered dietitian.
  2. Provide professionally trained Registered Dietitians, who may be employed by the health                   care, educational and research systems for local, national or international entities.
  3. Serve as a nutrition and dietetics training source to the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  4. Exhibit an investigative spirit to continue attaining knowledge and developing a professional competency beyond the entry level.

 $780 per credit within the Caribbean Union & $915 per credit out outside the Caribbean Union.
