Mode of Delivery and Duration:

Full Time and Part Time; Four (4) years - Corinth and Valsayn Campuses 

Part Time only; Four (4) years - Tobago Lumber Hardware Building (TLH), Tobago

Entry Requirements

Full- time ONLY:

• Passes in a minimum of five (5) subjects at CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency level in Grades I or II and from 1998, Grade III or equivalent GCE O’ Levels including Grades A, B or C in Mathematics, English Language and a science subject.
• For secondary specialisation in addition to the above entry requirements, applicants must have passed the subject in which they wish to specialize at CAPE (Units 1 and 2) or GCE A’ Levels. 
• Preference will be given to persons currently employed in a school environment.

Part- time ONLY:
Primary Specialisation 

• Teacher’s Diploma
• Passes in minimum of five (5) subjects at CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency level in Grades I or II and from 1998, Grade III or equivalent GCE O’ Levels including Grades A, B or C in Mathematics, English Language and a science subject.
• Currently employed as a Primary School Teacher.
• Preference will be given to persons currently employed in a school environment.

Technical Vocational Specialisation 

• Technician Diploma
• Passes in minimum of five (5) subjects at CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency level in Grades I or II and from 1998, Grade III or equivalent GCE O’ Levels including Grades A, B or C in Mathematics, English Language and a science subject
• Currently employed as a Technical Vocational Teacher
• Preference will be given to persons currently employed in a school environment.

         
Early Childhood Care Specialisation

• Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education
• Passes in minimum of five (5) subjects at CXC (CSEC) General Proficiency level in Grades I or II and from 1998, Grade III or equivalent GCE O’ Levels including Grades A, B or C in Mathematics, English Language and a science subject
• Currently employed as an Early Childhood Care Teacher
• Must be in possession of a Police Certificate of Good Character
