Digital Marketing Officer (Guyana)

The Digital Marketing Officer grows the company’s revenue via its online sales presence by attracting customers and generating repeat business through the use of digital strategies, services and practices that convey a consistent brand image to our publics.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES:

• Develops, implements and executes the online marketing objectives, strategies and plans for all lines of business and prepares and manages supporting budgets and promotional plans to increase store traffic and sales.
• Coordinates web content to ensure consistency with marketing plans and conversion targets of the business
• Monitors monthly accounts, analyzing and reporting on variances ensuring all costs are controlled to budget levels (Pay pal reconciliation).
• Analyzes customer demographics and purchasing behavior to monitor trends and future sales growth
• Monitors new media developments and makes recommendations on media opportunities to develop appropriate strategies

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Qualification/Education & Experience:

• Degree in Business Management or any or related field
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in the retail industry with digital expertise

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Understanding of web usability & accessibility best practice, as well as online methods of acquisition
• Proven experience in planning, organization, and development of online sales platform
• Knowledge of industry standards and requirements eg technical limitations, functionality, speed, download, video streaming etc.
• Active engagement in social media and ecommerce
