Job Purpose
The Data Entry Clerk (Production Department) is responsible for accurately entering requisition, lean, and canteen data into the company’s system on a timely basis. This role involves maintaining accurate and updated production records, monitoring inventory levels, generating monthly reports, and supporting the administrative needs of the production department to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input production-related data (requisitions, lean, canteen) into the system on a daily basis
- Maintain and update employee and production records to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
- Generate monthly reports for management on inventory, consumption, and production activity
- Monitor and track inventory levels for goods, packaging, PPE, and other production materials in collaboration with the procurement and production teams
- Identify and report data discrepancies, delays, or issues for timely resolution
- File and organise documents related to production, employee records, and operational activities
- Support administrative functions within the production department including payroll preparation, attendance, leave tracking, and employee forms
- Comply with all company HSE, HACCP, food safety, and quality control procedures
Educational and Training Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Professional Administration or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of basic First Aid would be an asset
Experience Requirements
- At least three (3) years of experience working in the food service or manufacturing industry
- At least two (2) years of experience in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience supporting production or operational departments is an advantage
