Role Overview: The Consultant – Insider Risk & Fraud Investigations is responsible for supporting the Insider Risk Program through the monitoring of employee activity using the Fiserve FCRM tool and assisting Loss Consultants with fraud investigations. This role contributes to the early detection and mitigation of internal threats and financial crimes by analysing behavioral data, identifying anomalies, and supporting investigative processes.
Employee Activity Monitoring
Monitor and analyse employee activity using Fiserv FCRM to detect insider threats, policy breaches, or anomalous behavior.
Escalate high-risk alerts and suspicious activity to Corporate Security leadership and Loss Consultants.
Maintain accurate monitoring logs and audit-ready documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.
Fraud Investigation Support
Support Loss Consultants in data gathering, analysis, and case development for fraud investigations.
Interpret system alerts and behavioral indicators to provide preliminary risk assessments.
Assist with evidence collation and case documentation for internal and external reporting.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Consolidate and validate data from multiple systems to support monitoring and investigations.
Produce dashboards, summaries, and reports for Corporate Security stakeholders.
Ensure data handling complies with information security and privacy requirements.
Program & Operational Support
Contribute to the refinement of insider risk monitoring procedures and controls.
Track emerging insider threat and fraud trends and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with IT, HR, Compliance, and Risk to align monitoring practices with policy and regulation.
Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Finance, Information Security, Data Analytics, or related field.
4–5 years’ experience in fraud monitoring, investigations, insider risk, financial crime, or compliance analytics (financial services preferred).
Experience with employee activity or fraud monitoring platforms (Fiserv FCRM or similar).
Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting transactional or behavioral datasets.
Proficiency in Excel and reporting/visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Working knowledge of data privacy, information security, and financial regulatory environments.
High integrity and discretion handling sensitive or confidential information.
May require after-hours response to alerts or investigation support.
Exposure to sensitive and confidential information requiring strict discretion.
Periodic high-pressure situations associated with fraud or insider threat cases.
