As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Validation & Verification Officer—a driven, detail-focused professional who understands the importance of accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in loan operations and who is ready to grow their career in financial services.
About the Role
As a Validation & Verification Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that loan disbursements, refunds, and rebates are processed with precision, integrity, and compliance. You will work within our Head Office Validation & Verification Unit, supporting strong internal controls and delivering reliable outcomes in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and people and who understands that behind every loan is a real story.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
· Reviewing and approving loan transactions in line with company policies
· Analyzing applicants’ financial and credit information
· Verifying refunds and rebates for accuracy and compliance
· Disbursing loans, refunds, and rebate requests within required timelines
· Providing clear, timely verification updates to internal stakeholders
· Preparing accurate monthly reports
· Working flexibly to meet disbursement deadlines
· Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or a related field
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Accounting, Loans Disbursement, or a similar role
· Working knowledge of the Micro-Credit Act
· Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements
· Strong competence in loan management systems and digital tools
Work Environment & Conditions
This role requires the ability to:
· Work at a desk and computer for extended periods
· Perform accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
· Handle high volumes of detailed, repetitive work
· Balance multiple priorities simultaneously
· Respond promptly to internal and external queries
· Work beyond normal hours and on weekends, when required
