Civil Engineer

Designs, plans and oversees construction of infrastructure projects such as roads, highways and bridges while ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Namalco Construction Services Limited is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team where they will assist with the planning, design and execution of major infrastructure and civil works projects for the Company. The requirements for this position are as follows:

Application Requirements

- An updated CV (Curriculum Vitae).

- A minimum of two professional references (from employers or academic mentors).

- A copy of your Civil Engineering degree and/or any other relevant certification.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.

- 1-2 years of professional experience in the Civil Engineering or Construction Field.

- Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar software is an asset.

- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and safety standards.

- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

- Support senior engineers with site supervision and ensure construction adheres to plans, codes and safety standards.

- Prepare technical drawings, reports and documentation to support project delivery.

- Conduct site visits and inspections as requested by the Company to monitor project progress and quality.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Namalco's quality control standards.

- Help resolve any engineering issues on-site or during the design phase of projects.
