The incumbent will manage the internal audit function of the Group and shall implement internal audit programmes, which examine and evaluate the adequacy of management controls systems to accomplish the objectives of the Group across its operations. 

Job Description

• Oversee Internal Audit functions across the Group
• Lead Internal Audit’s annual risk assessment planning process
• Develop and implement annual risk-based Internal Audit Plan
• Liaise with Regulators and the Group’s Independent Auditors
• Monitor compliance with best practices and international standards
• Establish and assign departmental goals and work plans.
• Ensure methodical documentation of work plans, investigations, conclusions and recommendations.
• Ensure follow-up of findings and corrective actions
• Monitor and independently verify adequacy, effectiveness and correct operations of internal auditors
• Review audit reports and make recommendations for changes in systems, processes and procedures
• Monitor responses to audit reports
• Represent the Group externally as necessary
• Submit reports to the Audit Committee in a timely manner

• F.C.I.I or its equivalent
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation would be an asset
• At least ten (10) years experience in a senior independent audit position
