Business Intelligence Lead

The Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for understanding financial processes, gathering requirements, and driving the development of technological solutions to meet the unique needs of the business.

Job Summary:

• The Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for understanding financial processes, gathering requirements, and driving the development of technological solutions to meet the unique needs of the business. He/she would be collaborating closely with the finance stakeholders as this role involves analyzing financial data, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategic enhancements to optimize financial operations for ANSA Packaging.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collects, analyses and interprets financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Develops models and conducts scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of potential business decisions.
• Collaborates with the finance team to develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts.
• Validates Process Improvement by operating processes using historic data to ensure alignment with Blue Book Policies.
• Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture specific to finance.
• Continually research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed.
• Works closely with cross functional teams to implement process improvements aligned with local business practices.
• Validates BOM formula for SKU across all business lines.
• Revaluates continuous improvement processes and report status to the Management Team.
• Oversees Accounts Payables for ANSA Polymer transactions.
• Ensures all FX payments are executed, and suppliers are informed of application. D365O entries are also to be posted.
• Performs ERP Support and needs analysis to determine key business requirements for possible enhancements to ERP and other applications.
• Develops detailed execution plans for the implementation of software upgrades and changes including data conversion and interface specification.
• Delivers training in ERP and other embedded applications to new and existing users to ensure optimal use of systems.
• Compiles Financial Management Reports, process improvement projects and recommendations.
• Ensures all audit schedules and GL reporting are to be completed in a timely manner.
• Assists in the budgeting process and completion of required templates by established timeframes.
• Performs stock counts and finance related activities for CGL and APD.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the related field.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, D365O).
• Professional Certification in ACCA would be an asset.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
