Business Development Associate



Salary: TTD$15,000.00 monthly
Location: Port of Spain 

A. Job Title: Business Development Associate

B. Department: Sales and Marketing

C. Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Manager

D. Supervising: No one

Job Objective

To build Company revenues by sourcing new customers, creating and adding value to new & existing products and successfully closing sales contracts.

Major Areas of Responsibility

· Conduct environmental and competitive analysis.

· Positioning the Company and its new products in such a way as to maximize competitive advantage.

· Create new business opportunities with the formulation of creative and dynamic marketing programs

· Communicating regularly with the Management Team to provide feedback, suggestions and strategies to increase sales.

· Going out on the field and meeting with potential customers, determining their needs and tailoring our products to meet those needs

· Actively seeking out and pursuing sales leads to increase sales

· Maintaining business relationships by keeping in contact with existing clients to ensure their needs are being met with our offerings.

Additional Responsibilities

· As required based on technological advancements.

Major Performance Indicators

· Increased Sales.

· Increased Market Share.

· Increased product awareness.

Remuneration

· Base Monthly Salary - $15,000.00 (inclusive of travelling)

· Sales-Based Commission

· Eligibility to the Company's Group Health Plan

· Eligibility to the Pension Plan

· Inclusion into the Company’s Corporate Cellular Plan

Key Interfaces

· Internally with personnel in Customer Care, Network Operations Centre [NOC].

· Externally with new and existing clients.

Minimum Required Qualifications / Experience

· A Level Certification

· Certificate in Sales/ Marketing.

· 4-5 years in a Sales or Marketing position preferably in a Communications or IT environment.

· Basic certification in IT

· Understanding of IPT, VoIP and Firewalls is required

· At least three (3) years Selling Experience in the field is mandatory

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Must own a reliable vehicle

· Other - The ideal candidate should be a dynamic person who possess the following traits:

a. results-oriented and target-driven

b. strong influencing and persuading skills

c. ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies quickly

d. must be able to think outside of the box

e. must be highly organized and have the ability to work under time constraints
