The Enterprise by IR on behalf of The Jamaica Observer Ltd. is seeking to hire a Broadcast Traffic Coordinator to join their team.

Broadcast Traffic Coordinator

The Broadcast Traffic Coordinator is responsible for the execution of the radio format as prescribed within the Trafficking system, as well as providing superb customer service to a group of clients, both externally and internally, at all levels. The Broadcast Coordinator is expected to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload to ensure a seamless operation.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute all contractual obligations, recording, and compliance associated with S & B Communications Limited radio stations.
  • Implement, activate, and track all assigned partner contracts to ensure that all elements are fulfilled, executed, and reported in accordance with internal and external procedures and guidelines.
  • Responsible for client satisfaction and retention as related to media fulfillment.
  • Maintain a working relationship with Wide Orbit to maximize the effectiveness of the Traffic Module for
    S & B Communications Limited radio broadcasts.
  • Gather, organize, create, and track accurate records for each assigned account, including but not limited to order entry and billing, traffic instructions, missing copy reports and timings, to ensure that all elements are fulfilled, executed, and reported accurately.
Qualification & Experience
  • At least an Associate Degree in Mass Communication, Advertising/Marketing, Business Management, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of two (2)  years’ experience in broadcast traffic operations.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Experience with visual communication principles.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with diplomacy, poise, and tact while handling confidential information.
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with various personalities within the organization as well as external partners, such as sponsors, agencies, and affiliate broadcasters.
