The Account Executive – Jamaica is responsible for managing and expanding the company’s sales activities in Jamaica, serving as the on-the-ground liaison for Trinidad-based operations.

Job Description:

Sales & Account Management

  • Manage and grow Jamaican accounts to achieve annual sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the Jamaican market in line with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate sales quotations, contracts, and pricing agreements in coordination with Trinidad management.
  • Monitor order processing, shipment schedules, and delivery performance to ensure timely fulfilment and accurate forecasting.

Market Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including prospective clients, distributors, partners, and retail channels.
  • Conduct local market research to track competitive activity, pricing trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events in Jamaica to generate leads, support product launches, and strengthen brand presence.
  • Collaborate with distributors’ marketing teams to ensure effective in-store product visibility, promotional campaigns, and merchandising strategies that drive awareness and sales.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and actionable recommendations to the Trinidad managementteam to support strategic decision-making.

Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Trinidad team to ensure smooth execution of Jamaica orders.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents, customs brokers, and local authorities to ensure compliance with Jamaican import regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Monitor product availability, stock levels, and lead times to effectively manage customer expectations.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback in Jamaica.
  • Track KPIs, including sales volume, margins, delivery accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Forecast sales, manage account budgets, and provide input to support business planning and growth in the Jamaican market.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A bachelors degree in Business Management or Marketing.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in sales and/or marketing.
  • Knowledge of export sales processes, documentation, and international trade regulations.
  • Proficiency in sales forecasting, budgeting, and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, incoterms, and freight management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Communications skills.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinking with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
