The successful candidate will grow and maintain assigned sales portfolio consistent with the targets set by the company for the budgeted period.

Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of the Account Manager include but is not exclusive to the following:

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, calls, emails, and virtual meetings to secure and grow sales.
  • Manage the full order cycle, including quotations, sample coordination, order processing, and follow-up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support new product development initiatives with existing and prospective customers.
  • Ensure accuracy of samples, print instructions, and customer requirements prior to final approval and production.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Planning, and other internal teams to ensure efficient order processing and communication.
  • Monitor order status, backlogs, and delivery schedules, proactively advising customers of any changes or delays.
  • Support credit control activities, including follow-up on outstanding payments and resolving credit-related issues.
  • Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports on customer activity, sales performance, and targets.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with key customers and track action plans to strengthen partnerships.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to support business growth.
  • Uphold professional standards and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented commercial environment.

 

Education and Experience

Essential

  • A minimum of five (5) “O” level passes (must include an “A” in English and a “B” in
  • Math). 
  • Three (3) years of relevant sales experience. 
  • A first degree or other tertiary level education will be an asset
  • At least five (5) years’ in a sales/marketing environment. 
  • Must have traveled and worked throughout Trinidad & Tobago.

Must own a reliable vehicle in good working condition.
