Manage the financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. Ensures compliance with tax regulations and supports management with budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis for multiple restaurant locations.

ACCOUNTANT – KFC SAINT LUCIA

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist with preparing market monthly P&L statement.
  • Assist with leading month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Analyze financial data and present findings to Accounts Manager.
  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and inventory processes as needed.
  • Oversee Statutory payments P.A.Y.E, NIC, VAT, Contract Tax, Withholding Tax and Royalties.
  • Partner with the Accounting Manager to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
  • Mentor junior accounting staff and support cross-functional collaborations.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, ACCA).
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Business Central) and Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
