Wireless Engineer

 

 

Position: Wireless Engineer(onsite)     

  1. Network Design: Designing and planning wireless networks, including coverage, capacity, and interference analysis, in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  2. Network Deployment: Overseeing the installation and configuration of wireless network equipment, including base stations, antennas, and access points, ensuring proper alignment with network design specifications.
  3. Network Optimization: Conducting performance analysis and troubleshooting of wireless networks, identifying and resolving issues such as signal degradation, capacity constraints, and interference problems to optimize network performance.
  4. Network Upgrades: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and implement network upgrades, including software updates, hardware enhancements, and network expansion projects to meet evolving customer needs.
  5. Network Monitoring: Implementing network monitoring and management tools to proactively monitor network performance, identify potential issues, and ensure smooth operation of the wireless network infrastructure.
  6. Technical Support: Providing technical support to customers, addressing their inquiries, troubleshooting network-related issues, and delivering effective solutions within agreed timelines.
  7. Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining accurate documentation of network configurations, solutions implemented, troubleshooting steps, and project progress. Generating regular reports on network performance and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Job Responsibility is not exclusive and may be required to carry out other job-related activities as assigned


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge in wireless communication technologies, including 3G, 4G.
  • Strong learning ability and teamwork ability.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Certification in relevant wireless network technologies or vendor-specific certifications would be a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
