Corporate Banking Officer
Retain and continuously improve relationships with Corporate & Commercial Banking clients.
Contribute to the strategic priorities of improved Client experience and Revenue Growth.
Location: Kingston
As a Corporate Banking Officer, you will:
- Provide direct support to corporate & commercial banking clients for all lending and non-lending activities to include the management of documentation.
- Develop a strong knowledge of client’s operational requirements in order to provide financial solutions (primarily cash management and payments solutions) that add value to the client’s business, while driving revenue growth.
- Assist with the on boarding of clients with respect to product and services (i.e. POS, credit cards, fixed deposits, credit facilities, e-banking applications).
- Identify, refer and fulfil new opportunities by taking the appropriate actions; by collaborating with Internal partners.
- Effectively support the Relationship Managers with their assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Assist with the documentations required in the origination/booking of deals.
- Daily management of excesses, past due facilities and watch listed accounts.
- Provide support to Relationship Managers with retention, growth, and client acquisition activities.
- Act as a contact for new and existing client's non-lending needs, coordinating sales and fulfilment with product and service specialists.
- Personally demonstrate commitment to cross sell group-wide services and expertise through referrals.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned from time to time.
What do you need?
- BSc in Finance, Business Administration, Banking or Supervisory Management from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a financial institution.
- Sound knowledge of computer software packages including spreadsheet and word processing applications.
- Sales and service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills deadlines.
- Ability to cross sell and negotiate successfully with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to plan and manage time efficiently and effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
