Purpose of the Role

To provide store leadership support by ensuring the smooth operation of the Warehouse on a day-to-day basis; focusing on efficient and effective service delivery to enhance the customers’ experience.

 Principal Responsibilities

• Monitor operational requirements of the warehouse ensuring that all processes and procedures are adhered to
• Provide general supervision of warehouse team members
• Maintain timely and accurate inventory records; and liaise with relevant departments on inventory levels
• Coordinate physical activities within the warehouse (picking/packing of goods etc.)
• Organize, facilitate and participate in stock count exercises
• Ensure that the working environment of the warehouse is safe and conforms to health & safety guidelines, and that it is practiced by team members.

• Ability to exercise initiative, focused with good organizational skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to provide excellent service to internal and external customers

 Minimum Education & Experience

• Diploma in Operations / Supervisory Management or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar capacity
• Certificate in Inventory Control and Warehouse Management would be an asset
• Working knowledge of the 5S methodology is an unquestionable asset
