A leading logistics and fresh produce distributor is seeking an experienced and competent Warehouse Supervisor. The successful candidate The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient flow of goods throughout the warehouse. This role oversees the receiving, storage, and distribution of products, while maintaining accurate inventory management, organized storage, and timely transportation. The supervisor also ensures proper maintenance of facilities and equipment, compliance with safety and security standards, achievement of productivity targets, and effective supervision of warehouse staff.

Responsibilities

• Receiving of Goods: Prepare storage areas, oversee incoming shipments, verify accuracy, inspect for damage, and ensure proper documentation.
• Storage of Goods: Ensure goods are stored under optimal conditions, monitor stock levels, and maintain efficient storage and energy use.
• Delivery & Distribution: Coordinate outbound deliveries, including picking, packing, quality checks, and timely dispatch of orders.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, manage stock using FIFO, and track spoilage or loss.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce warehouse safety regulations, provide staff training, and ensure availability of safety equipment and supplies.
• Quality Management: Uphold quality standards, promptly address issues, and ensure regulatory documentation is completed.
• Staff Management: Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, provide training, and resolve workplace issues.
• Facilities & Equipment Management: Coordinate maintenance and repairs, and verify service provision by contractors or maintenance teams.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory, sanitization, chemical usage, and safety/quality checks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and Ministry of Health food safety standards.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit and an Open General Driver’s License.
• Proven leadership skills with prior experience in manufacturing and/or processing.
• Supervisory or Leadership Certificate.
• Occupational Health & Safety Certification (e.g., OSHA).
• Inventory Management or Warehouse Operations Certification (e.g., APICS, CIPS, or equivalent).
• Forklift License (where applicable).
