Warehouse/Stores Attendant

(1)          Conduct proper housekeeping on a daily basis.

(2)          Verify physical stock count against relevant documents

(3)          Ensure proper stock rotation of materials daily.

(4)          Issue raw materials to requesting departments and complete documentation

(5)          Conduct quality control inspections of all incoming materials.

(6)          Receive in stock packaging materials from suppliers and Blow Moulding daily.

(7)          Load and unload containers as required

(8)          Handle chemicals on a daily basis.

(9)          Assist in monthly and / or quarterly stock-taking.

(10)      Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate health, safety, security and environmental policies/ procedures.

(11)      Perform any other duties as required by the job function.

Qualifications                                                      

(1)    Basic numeric and literacy skills

(2)    Forklift license

Experience

(1)    At least one year experience driving forklift with an excellent safety record

Or any equivalent combination of qualification and experience

Knowledge Skills and Abilities 

(1)    Good organizational skills  

(2)    Ability to read and understand simple instructions

(3)    Good numeric skills 

(4)    Physical dexterity
