The Warehouse Attendant supports the efficient operation of the warehouse and delivery functions by ensuring goods are received, stored, processed, and dispatched accurately and on time

Location : ARIMA

Salary range : $0 to $31 per hour

Hours of Work : Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 3:00 pm with one hour for lunch

Additional Requirements : Overtime and weekend work may be required

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-conscious Warehouse Attendant to support warehouse operations within a fast-paced Food Service/FMCG distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to accurately receive, store, pick, pack, process, and dispatch goods in a timely and organized manner. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with stock rotation, preparing orders for delivery, supporting loading and transport activities when required, and using handheld devices or computer systems to process warehouse transactions. This position is best suited for a reliable and hardworking individual who understands the importance of accuracy, efficiency, teamwork, and safe warehouse practices in a high-volume distribution setting.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Knowledge and experience working in the following areas:

  • Receiving, unpacking, and securing goods in the warehouse
  • Using handheld devices to process stock movements and related transactions
  • Posting and updating received goods in the computer system accurately
  • Communicating pallet locations to the Warehouse Manager for tracking in the automated inventory system
  • Pulling and preparing the correct goods based on invoices and delivery requirements
  • Assisting with inventory counts, including stock in the refrigerated warehouse
  • Supporting the loading of delivery vehicles in an efficient and safe manner
  • Ensuring timely and effective stock rotation
  • Carrying out other related warehouse and delivery duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

  • Five (5) CSEC passes, Grade III or above
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in warehouse operations
  • Competent in computer literacy
  • Ability to use a scanner or panner tracker device would be an asset
  • Ability to read and write clearly
