Job Summary
The Warehouse Attendant / Heavy-T Driver supports the efficient operation of the warehouse and delivery functions by ensuring goods are received, stored, processed, and dispatched accurately and on time. The role involves handling incoming stock, maintaining proper inventory records, assisting with stock rotation, preparing goods for delivery, and supporting transport operations when required. The successful candidate will also use handheld devices and computer systems to process warehouse transactions and help maintain accurate inventory tracking. This position requires a dependable, safety-conscious individual with warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to assist with delivery driving and loading activities as needed.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Knowledge and experience working in the following areas:
- Receiving, unpacking, and securing goods in the warehouse
- Using handheld devices to process stock movements and related transactions
- Posting and updating received goods in the computer system accurately
- Communicating pallet locations to the Warehouse Manager for tracking in the automated inventory system
- Pulling and preparing the correct goods based on invoices and delivery requirements
- Assisting with inventory counts, including stock in the refrigerated warehouse
- Supporting the loading of delivery vehicles in an efficient and safe manner
- Assisting with deliveries using a 3-tonne truck when required
- Ensuring timely and effective stock rotation
- Operating forklifts safely when required
- Carrying out other related warehouse and delivery duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Five (5) CSEC passes, Grade III or above
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in warehouse operations
- Minimum of one (1) year’s experience driving a 3-tonne truck
- Valid Heavy-T Licence preferred
- Competent in computer literacy
- Ability to use a scanner or panner tracker device would be an asset
- Ability to read and write clearly

Terms & Conditions
- Base Rate of Pay: $31.00 per hour
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with one hour lunch
- Additional Requirements: Overtime and weekend work may be required
