VGT Field Services Technician (iBET SV Guyana)

iBET SV Guyana, a subsidiary of Supreme Ventures Limited, is seeking a VGT Field Services Technician. The VGT Field Services Technician is responsible for the configuration, installation, maintenance, upgrade and repair of all Sports Betting related equipment and services.

This role is critical to ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and uptime of our gaming machines and related technical systems across all locations. The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall technical success and growth of the operations. They will also be responsible for on-site troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installations, and technical support to minimize downtime and support business continuity. 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing VGTs for deployment to retailer locations.
• Install, configure, and commission VGT gaming machines.
• Performing preventative maintenance and technical troubleshooting of all gaming machines and related equipment across the network.
• Respond promptly to service calls and breakdowns at retailer locations
• Providing regular inspections of all VGTs to ensure proper function and check for tampering.
• Work alongside other team members to assist in resolving customer concerns with problems regarding VGT machines.
• Relocate VGTs as necessary to and from company storage to retailer premises.
• Organizing and properly account for all paperwork required maintenance, updates and ordering of parts.
• Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, machine inventory, required upgrades and parts.
• Ensure machines comply with regulatory and company operational standards.
• Liaising with various external partners and service providers to ensure efficient operations with minimal downtime.

Qualifications & Expereince:

• Diploma preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Technology background preferred in order to troubleshoot common problems with slot machines.
• At least two (2) years experience working with VGT machines and general knowledge of VGT management software is beneficial.
• Previous experience working with computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of basic computer networking concepts.
• Basic electronics repair skills such as component removal, installation and soldering.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:

• Ability to accurately provide supervisors with repair assessments and estimates
• Strong customer service background as the employee will likely be interacting with customers when addressing maintenance issues
• Personal accountability and ability to keep detailed records of machine inventory, updates and parts.
• Self-motivated, driven by initiative and able to work expeditiously.
• Ability to adhere to and enforce rules, structure and processes.
