Utility Technician

The Utility Technician has responsibility to provide full support for all machines in the factory during the shift, in both the packaging and infrastructure areas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor daily production outputs, raw material received and used, and finished products transferred
• Ensure equipment and work environment are maintained in clean and safe condition
• Ensure shift logs are filled out accurately and in a timely manner
• Ensure adequate material is available to carry out production efficiently
• Initiate work request for corrective maintenance action as required
• Identify and communicate operational needs to support entities
• Ensure optimum  performance of all infrastructure equipment to minimize downtime
• Monitor and record relevant data for the infrastructure area
• Account for all waste generated on the shift including process and material waste
