Utilities Technician

To perform planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance on utilities systems in line with company standards, while completing all required inspections and documentation to ensure reliable operation of steam, air, water, cooling, and electrical systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure high equipment reliability and uptime
• Support mechanical efficiency targets in line with company standards
• Participate in planned overhauls and continuous improvement initiatives
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and ensure effective resolution
• Use tools, time, and spare parts efficiently to control maintenance costs
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and care of tools and equipment

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Journeyman qualification or equivalent completion of a Technical Training Program
• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering would be considered an asset
• A minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Utilities Technician using utility related equipment preferably in food & beverage industry.
• More than two (2) years of experience in the maintenance of rotating and static equipment
