Transaction Verification Officer to support our daily transaction and treasury operations.
THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY. MUST BE LIVING IN THE COUNTRY AT THE PRESENT TIME.
Our client located in Port of Spain, Trinidad is seeking to fill the position of TEMPORARY Transaction Verification Officer
SALARY RANGE: $6,500.00 (6 MONTHS)
Key Responsibilities
Perform disbursement review by checking disbursement packages prepared by
secretarial staff and transaction officers before forwarding them for approval.
Ensure that all daily disbursement documents are submitted to the Finance
Department for processing on a timely basis.
Assign disbursement tasks to secretarial staff as required.
Contact bankers to address any enquiries related to daily transaction
disbursements or account activity.
Support the treasury officer in ensuring that there is sufficient funds available in
the bank accounts to cover transaction activity.
Assist the treasury officer as required in downloading and organizing bank
statements for various company accounts, preparing cash flow reports and lines
of credit summaries.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma, or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a
related field.
Prior experience in finance, treasury operations, or transaction processing is an
advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing documents and handling
financial data.
Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
