Trainee & Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Supervisor provides support to the Supply Chain Manager for the cement logistics and distribution process.

Objective:

The Logistics Supervisor provides support to the Supply Chain Manager for the cement logistics and distribution process.

Main Responsibilities include:   

• Check and balance the cement inventory levels in the warehouse.
• Supervise housekeeping staff in packing plant area.
• Provide supervision to scale clerks.
• Manage the logistics for cement trucks onloading.

Required Education/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement Management or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized.
• Strong work ethic.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of work experience in supply chain management and logistics.
• Knowledge of housekeeping would be an asset.   
• Loading of trucks would be an asset.
