The Offshore Toolpusher is the senior drilling supervisor on site and is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of drilling operations during assigned 12‑hour shifts.

Offshore Toolpusher (12‑Hour Shifts)

Location: Offshore
Schedule: 12‑hour shifts | Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off

Position Summary

The Offshore Toolpusher is responsible for the safe and efficient execution of drilling operations during assigned 12‑hour shifts. This role provides offshore leadership, ensures compliance with the drilling program and regulations, and supervises rig crews and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all drilling operations during assigned shift
• Ensure compliance with drilling programs, safety policies, and offshore regulations
• Coordinate with the OIM, Company Representatives, and service providers
• Lead safety meetings, JSAs, and emergency response actions
• Supervise and mentor rig crews
• Oversee equipment condition, maintenance, and operational readiness
• Complete daily reports and ensure effective shift handovers

Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years of oilfield experience with progressive responsibility in drilling or workover operations

• • Hands‑on experience serving as a Driller and/or Toolpusher
  • Strong technical knowledge of Hydraulic Workover Units and/or Workover rigs
  • Background in maintenance or mechanical disciplines is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and develop rig crews effectively
  • Previous drilling experience considered a plus
  • Valid IWCF Well Control Certification required
