Our client is seeking a dynamic Telemarketer, to drive business growth through cold calling and customer inquiries. Influence and cater to customer needs with patience and persuasion in a fast-paced environment.

JOB OPPORTUNITY

TELEMARKETER

Remuneration: $6,500 + performance bonus

Location: Arima

Qualifications, Experience & Required Skills: 

  • Successful completion of at least five (5) CXC/O'Level subjects
  • Possession of a Diploma or Certificate in sales/customer service or a related field would be an asset
  • Proven experience in telemarketing, Telesales and lead generation, particularly in outbound calling roles/outbound customer service roles
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated in a target-driven environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) is an asset
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics such as call quotas, lead conversion rates, and sales goals
  • Knowledge of or experience in the Trinidad & Tobago market is preferred 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively cold call potential customers from a provided database or directory to promote the company’s products and services
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective customers and provide accurate, engaging information
  • Follow established call scripts and adapt messaging based on customer needs, highlighting features, pricing, and key benefits
  • Ask qualifying questions to understand customer requirements and identify suitable products or services
  • Generate and qualify sales leads to support the sales team
  • Persuade customers to make purchases or book appointments by emphasizing how offerings meet their needs
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer information, call notes, and outcomes in the CRM system
  • Track and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets, including call volume, lead conversions, and sales
  • Handle objections and resolve customer complaints professionally to uphold a positive brand reputation
  • Maintain organized records of customer interactions, sales, and follow-ups for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Collaborate with the broader sales and marketing team to share feedback and insights from customer conversations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
