Responsible for the design, planning, analyzing, maintaining and developing of wireless telecommunications systems and enhanced capabilities for various operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for commissioning and integrating different not limited to wireless products including all RAN equipment, IPCLK, RTN, ATN, etc.

  • Provide  technical  supports  on site and remote

  • Use wireless Operations Support System (OSS) platform to carry remote operations and network monitoring
  • Supervise hardware installation of various wireless products
  • Perform software and license upgrades for RAN and OSS systems
  • Lead maintenance and troubleshooting of wireless networks systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as health checks, IBMS collection, topology and contingency plan update
  • Develop wireless network infrastructures and make recommendations on systems enhancements for optimization.
  • Perform acceptance tests for new deployed hardware
  • Design and validate RF link performance, quality and reliability.
  • Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and optimize equipment performance.
  • Create Standard of Procedures (SOP) and other support documentations to guide contractors, customer and other engineers
  • Develop wireless network topology, high and low levels designs for new projects
  • Support in creation of scripts for RAN equipment integration
  • Log and handle customer complaints through online ticketing platform
  • Perform engineering surveys of telecommunication structures
  • Create Material request and RMA applications for new and faulty equipment 
  • Work with RF engineer during optimization of existing network by adjusting radio network parameters, adding/deleting of neighbors and recommending possible solutions to hardware problems.
  • Train and mentor interns and other junior engineers.

Job Responsibility is not exclusive and you may be required to carry out other job related activities as assigned

 

Requirement:

- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering
- Familiar with TDMA, CDMA, CSMA, OFDM and OFDMA
- Knowledge of wireless networks protocols and standards (e.g. W-CDMA, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, WLAN, MANET, 4G LTE) is desirable
- Familiar with networking Protocols (e.g. TCP, IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, MANET)
- R&D and analysis interest and experience
- Possess excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills
- Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance

****Mandarin and English Proficiency is a must
