System Administrator

Mother's Food Group is seeking to identify a suitable and qualified individual to join its Information Technology Team in the position of System Administrator.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor servers, networks, and IT systems to ensure maximum uptime.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues promptly and efficiently.
• Implement and maintain security measures, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide technical support and solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend system improvements for better performance and reliability.
• Develop and document processes and procedures

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Server+ or CCNA.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems, networking protocols, switches, routers and firewalls.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience n a similar capacity
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Holder of a valid driver’s license, minimum 3 years experience.
• Must be able to travel island wide, work weekends and unusual hours.
