We are looking for A Survey Coordinator to join the team.
You will be working with a special international group specializing in architectual design and construction managament- URCOISA.
Job Functions
Will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all surveying work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with plans and technical specifications.
Managing the team, planning surveys and stakeouts, quality control of measurements, and collaborating with other technical teams.
Team coordination: supervises and leads surveyors and the field crew, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and safely.
Planning and execution of tasks: organizes topographic surveys, stakeouts, and any other surveying work necessary for the project.
Quality control: verifies the accuracy of measurements and stakeouts, ensuring they meet project standards.
Multidisciplinary collaboration: works closely with engineers, architects, and other technicians to ensure surveying tasks align with designs and specifications.
Resource management: optimizes the use of equipment and technology, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained in good condition.
Interpretation of plans and specifications: understands the project’s plans and technical specifications, interpreting them to carry out surveys and stakeouts correctly.
Problem solving: identifies and resolves any issues that may arise during surveying work, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
Report preparation: prepares reports on surveys, stakeouts, and any other surveying tasks performed.
Compliance with regulations: ensures that all surveying tasks are performed in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Site supervision: oversees the construction site, ensuring that the works conform to the plans and stakeouts carried out.
Planning: optimizes resource use, reduces conflicts, and creatively resolves problems.
Project scheduling: determines the total project duration by tracking work hours and estimating the time required for each phase.
Measure distances and angles on a property or land to establish legal boundaries.
Proficient in using specialized equipment such as distance measuring wheels, GPS devices, and Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to measure boundaries and contour lines.
Perform mathematical calculations to determine and verify surveying measurements.
Mark and outline boundaries and reference points on a property or land.
Research and consult historical maps, surveys, and legal documents related to the property or land being measured.
Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and software such as AutoCAD and GIS.
Present data to clients and prepare reports detailing legal boundaries and other relevant information.
Verify and prepare bills of quantities for budget requests and/or drafting of tender documents.
Review and analyze technical and economic estimates.
Prepare technical and economic comparison reports.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Geospatial Sciences, Geophysics, or a related field.
Proficiency in English is essential.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in work related to surveying projects
Experienced professional with a strong background in supervising surveying projects.
Extensive technical knowledge, results-oriented, with excellent team management and leadership skills.
Able to take initiative in a changing environment and respond effectively to project needs.
Knowledgeable of relevant regulations and standards.
Experience in new construction projects and coordination among multiple stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and a results-driven mindset.
Dynamic, organized, thorough, and autonomous.
Skilled in managing relationships with all types of stakeholders and reporting to supervisors.
Capable of prioritizing tasks, taking initiative, and adapting to different actors.
Proficient in engineering project management tools and methodologies.
Maintains and controls project tracking tools up to date (monitoring dashboards, schedules, budgets, task organigrams, communication tools, etc.).
Proficient in software tools focused on technical drawing.
