Job Summary

The Supply Planner is accountable to provide focus and integration of data from Procurement, Inventory and Production, which are used to generate on time and in full orders for all raw materials, packaging and resale items required by the company through the ERP system.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding and reinforcing manufacturing, procurement and logistics processes to link with recommended buying and inventory management processes.
• Update and modify weekly buying plan, identify critical items and assist procurement to manage deliveries based on production requirements and the sales forecast schedules.
• Manage overall inventory and aged inventory levels to ensure 100% on time availability but keeping value at minimum.
• Prepare a weekly summary of all the requirements with relevant information, and provide to the Procurement team.
• Provide guidance / oversight of the total item level inventory, to ensure alignment with business direction and consistency with usage trends and production or sales demands.
• Establish and manage item level inventory management data for all ACL’s purchased products.
• Update and monitor related processes (procurement, inventory management) to ensure continual availability improvement efforts for all raw materials, packaging and resale items.
• Provide data and advice for inventory reports for the Demand and Supply Planning Lead and the Managing Director.
• Prepare reports or other data as required by the Sector Demand and Supply Manager.
• Conduct any other related duties that may be assigned by the Sector Demand and Supply Manager.
• Liaise with external customers/contractors/suppliers as and when necessary.

Job Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma and major if applicable: (Science Technology, Supply Chain, Mathematics or Statistics *or an equivalent combination of academic and work experience)
• Background in Supply Chain will be an asset
• Working knowledge of the use of quantitative methods to analyze situations and solve business problems, employing significant internal and external interaction
• Strong planning, organization, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).

• Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics 365
