The successful Contractor shall provide a temporary placement for the role of Supply Chain Assistant to support Purchasing and Contracts activities within the Supply Chain Department.

Our client in the Oil and Gas sector is seeking to onboard a Supply Chain Assistant for their Couva location.

Job Purpose / Scope

The successful Contractor shall provide a temporary placement for the role of Supply Chain Assistant to support Purchasing and Contracts activities within the Supply Chain Department.

The Supply Chain Assistant will provide operational and administrative support in the following areas:

  • Purchasing of Direct Goods and Services or Receipts and Issues
  • Support of the Prequalification Process
  • Administration of all Service Requests for Quotation (RFQs), particularly in response to End User Department resource constraints

Duration of Assignment

  • Temporary placement for six (6) months
  • Assignment Period: 1 March 2026 to 31 August 2026

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

  1. A valid PLEA Certification will be considered an asset.

  2. A minimum of five (5) GCE Ordinary Level / CXC / CSEC subjects, including:

    • English A
    • Mathematics
  3. A minimum of a Diploma in Supply Management or a related discipline.

  4. Demonstrated experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as:

    • JD Edwards
    • Maximo
    • SAP
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.

  6. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the petrochemical industry.
