Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail HVAC and Auto AC branch. The Branch Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a team to ensure exceptional customer service, high sales performance, efficient operational processes, and strong employee development. This role will involve overseeing inventory management, sales targets, and ensuring that the branch operates in alignment with company policies and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Management:
    • Oversee all daily branch operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
    • Ensure the branch meets or exceeds sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are optimized, ordering products when necessary.
    • Monitor and control expenses to ensure profitability.
  2. Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and achieve branch sales targets in both HVAC and Auto AC products and services.
    • Identify opportunities for increasing sales and expanding the customer base through marketing, promotions, and exceptional service.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  3. Team Leadership and Staff Management:
    • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates, technicians, and support staff.
    • Conduct regular training and development sessions to improve product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service.
    • Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of team members.
    • Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  4. Customer Service:
    • Ensure that customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests are handled professionally and efficiently.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions align with the company’s commitment to excellent customer service.
    • Resolve complex customer issues and complaints in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  

  1. Administrative Management:
    • Monitor Sales performance and ensure branch targets are met regarding revenue, costs, and profit margins.
    • Submit purchase orders for approval, process invoices, and ensure accurate operational reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, including sales reports, inventory logs, and financial records.
  2. Health & Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure the branch operates in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure the branch team adheres to safety protocols, especially related to HVAC systems and Auto AC repairs.
    • Maintain store’s cleanliness and health and safety measures
  3. Reporting:
    • Provide regular reports on branch performance, including sales, inventory, staffing, and financials, to upper management.
    • Track competitor activity and market trends, and report findings to the leadership team.
    • Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts

Required Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred) an MBA would be an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail management, ideally in HVAC, Auto AC, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in managing a team and driving sales.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, Auto AC services, and related products.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, inventory, and profit margins.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to HVAC and Auto AC operations
  • Previous experience in the HVAC or Auto AC retail industry.
  • Certification in HVAC or Auto AC systems (an advantage).
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Any relevant combination of service, skills, and qualifications that will fulfill this job description, subject to management’s discretion.
