Solutions Engineer

A Solutions Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, databases, APIs, and mobile solutions.

Job Summary:

The Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software and system solutions that align with the company’s operational and business needs. The role collaborates with developers, IT professionals, and end-users to build, test, and deploy scalable applications, databases, and APIs while ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer supports existing deployments and recommends upgrades to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other developers to build end-to-end solutions
• Designing solutions for existing systems to meet the current and expanding business needs
• Designing, develop and testing programs and scripts to agreed specification
• Design and development of mobile solutions
• Design, deploy and maintain required databases
• Design and construction of REST APIs
• Maintain and upgrade technical systems or offer recommendations on upgrades
• Coordinate maintenance with other IT professionals and users
• Test and demonstrate new software and technology to increase productivity
• Provide support for all existing deployments
• Perform any other related duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, jQuery, XML and  JavaScript.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as JAVA, ASP.Net and ASP.NET CORE.
• Proficiency with mobile languages such as FLUTTER.
• Familiarity with database technology such as Microsoft SQL and MySQL.

Special Conditions:

The incumbent may be required to travel out of town and stay overnight to support operational or project related activities. The role also requires flexibility to work on weekends, public holidays, and outside of normal working hours, as well as availability to respond to emergencies or urgent technical issues.
