Are you passionate about child rights and strengthening families? We are seeking a committed and compassionate Family Reintegration and Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with children, families, and communities to support family reunification, provide trauma-informed care, and strengthen at-risk households. You will also liaise with child welfare agencies and community partners to ensure the long-term success of reintegration efforts.
Required qualifications Key Responsibilities
Identify and support cases for child and family reintegration.
Provide trauma-informed developmental support to vulnerable children and families.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized support plans.
Manage caseloads and maintain up-to-date case files and documentation.
Engage communities through sensitization on child rights and advocacy topics.
Coordinate family support services with child welfare organizations and external agencies.
Track and report on programme indicators and reintegration outcomes.
Collaborate with care teams to ensure smooth transitions from residential care to family settings.
Required qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in case management, child protection, or family support.
Practical knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches.
Experience working with community-based programmes and social work methods.
Required knowledge and skills
Knowledge of national child welfare system, Child Rights and Protection Act.
Working knowledge of child protection laws and policies.
Ability to manage confidential records and prepare reports.
Strong interpersonal and advocacy skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Spanish competency would be an asset.
