Social Media Coordinator

The ideal candidate will develop and ensure implementation of a brand marketing strategy in line with brand portfolio objectives. Responsible for the management of the company assets (brands), achieving sales, contribution of, and value targets for the brands as well as developing external contact

Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

Qualifications and Experience:

• First Degree in Marketing or Mass Communication or equivalent qualification.

• Two (2) years experience in social media coordination in a similar environment.

Specific Knowledge (however acquired) Required to Start:

• Sound knowledge of social media strategy and content generation.

• Sound knowledge of customer service.

• Sound knowledge of photography, videography and editing.

Special Conditions Associated With the job:

• Frequent travelling to promote brands.

May be required to work off site in order to generate content.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develops and executes creative content ideas aligned with assigned brand objectives and overall marketing strategy.

• Creates, curates, and publishes engaging content across all assigned social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand voice and visual identity.

• . Manages the day-to-day operations of social media platforms, including scheduling, posting, monitoring, and optimization.

• Manages community engagement and provides timely, professional customer service via social media platforms, escalating issues where necessary.

• Assists with content generation at special events sponsored by the operating company brands.
