We are seeking experienced and qualified Site Superintendents to join our team in the Cayman Islands. This is a unique opportunity to live and work in a tax-neutral jurisdiction while contributing to dynamic, high-profile projects.

Phoenix Construction Ltd. is a leading construction firm in the Cayman Islands, proudly serving the region since 1979.

We specialize in commercial, Industrial, and high-end residential projects, offering full-service design, build, and project management.

An approved Cayman Islands work permit will be provided. Applicants must have a clean criminal record (including no DUIs). If English is not your first language, a TOEIC English test will be required.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site operations for multiple construction projects
  • Direct and monitor performance of in-house crews and subcontractors
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and to high-quality standards
  • Manage resource and material scheduling efficiently
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
  • Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve issues and maintain progress
  • Utilize MS Office and MS Project for scheduling and reporting

 Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of recent experience in the construction industry
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Solid understanding of submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, punch lists, and closeouts
  • OSHA safety certification (within the last 3 years)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Clean police record
