Service Center Authority Trainee

Supports the operations of the Drillings & Completions Fluids Unit at the Service Centers under direct supervision.

JOB SUMMARY

Participates in rotational assignments to gain exposure to equipment handling, fluid blending, inventory control, and HSSE protocols.

Education

• BSc. Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum/Engineering Degree or equivalent or
• 5 (CXC) 0’Level passes including Mathematics and English Language and Relevant Industry level technical certification.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a technical or operational support role.
• Prior exposure to industrial or field operations will be considered an asset.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The Service Center Authority Trainee reports directly to the Fluids Delivery Manager or their delegate.

FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enforces the Company's Business Management System (BMS) and associated procedures
• Supports the execution of tasks carried out in accordance with the BMS Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
• Assists in preparation of goods for transport and completing documentation under supervision
• Ensures all vessels are berthed/unberthed safely and in accordance with procedure
• Ensures personal compliance with PPE requirements and encourages team adherence
• Reports any HSE incidents or unsafe conditions
• Participates in Emergency Call Down Procedure drills and simulations
• Supports contractor and stakeholder safety management activities
• Assists in securing and maintaining company assets
• Participates in Job Risk Analysis meetings and hazard identification
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the facility
• Assists in waste removal and segregation activities
• Supports blending and mixing operations under supervision
• Assists in inventory tracking and reporting
• Observes maintenance procedures and supports coordination efforts
