SENIOR TECHNICAL MANAGER – INTEGRATED SECURITY SYSTEMS

 

Are you an experienced leader in the electrical or electronics field with a passion for structured operations and high-performance technical teams?

 A leading and well-established provider of integrated security solutions is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Technical Manager to join our dynamic security solutions company and take full ownership of our technical department’s success.

 The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and streamlining the full scope of the technical department, including personnel management, logistics, maintenance, and system performance—ensuring structured, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the technical department, managing a team of technicians, supervisors, and technical support personnel.
  • Coordinate all technical activities, including system installations, maintenance, repairs, and service delivery.
  • Implement and maintain structured operational procedures across logistics, stock control, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor system performance and lead initiatives to identify, track, and reduce nuisance or false alarms.
  • Ensure all technical work complies with relevant safety standards, technical regulations, and quality assurance protocols.
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure efficient and effective communication and service delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of technical standards, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution; prior project management experience will be considered a strong advantage.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • B.Sc degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in the management of electrical/electronic systems and personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coordinate, and develop high-performing technical teams.
  • A structured and process-driven approach to operations and problem-solving.
  • Strong working knowledge of integrated security technologies (e.g. CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, etc.).
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Project management experience or certification is a distinct advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and deliver consistently in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Experience in the security systems industry is highly desirable
