Senior Engineer

The Senior Engineer has responsibility for supporting the overall operational activities at the facilities island wide.  He/She ensures optimal productivity by overseeing the maintenance and servicing of equipment and machinery to ensure reliability and availability at all times.  

Core Functions

• Overseeing facilities operations and maintenance across the island to ensure optimal efficiency/productivity in relation to quantity and quality of products.
• Supporting the design, installation, commissioning, and modification of new and existing equipment.
• Supporting the maintenance of machinery and equipment and assists with the acquisition of new equipment.
• Ensuring that all facilities, personnel and installations comply with safety, regulatory and industry standards at all times.
• Ensuring that corrective and preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely manner at the facilities.
• Supervises staff.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• B.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Plant/Production environment preferably at the Supervisory level
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of strategic plans and budgets
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
