Role Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the integrity of the Company’s financial records, with a focus on general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly bank and investment reconciliations
• Maintain the General Ledger and Cash Book
• Prepare and review audit schedules
• Compute General Consumption Tax (GCT)
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Monitor expenditure against budget and support reporting
• Assist with contract tracking and financial oversight
• Support continuous improvement of processes and controls

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field / ACCA Level II (or in progress)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior accounting role
• Supervisory experience required
• External audit experience would be an asset
• Working knowledge of accounting standards and local tax regulations
• Experience with Sage accounting software (preferred)
