This role is operationally embedded not purely accounting. The Finance Manager will partner with station leadership to drive financial control, performance transparency, and disciplined cost management across ground handling and cargo operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance reports across all departments.
  • Deliver detailed variance analysis (actual vs budget vs forecast) for cargo and ground handling operations.
  • Manage and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring timely and policy-compliant completion.
  • Monitor and analyze operational costs including:
    • Labor productivity & overtime ratios
    • Fuel usage and related costs
    • Rebillable services and third-party charges
  • Oversee receivables; support AR discipline.
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate schedules and documentation.
  • Track and report operational KPIs including:
    • Revenue
    • Cost per ton handled
    • Turnaround time impact on labor cost
  • Present financial analysis, risks, and recommendations to senior management and regional executives.


Key Competencies & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • MBA, ACCA, or CFA designation is an asset
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in financial analysis
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ hands-on general ledger experience preferred
  • FP&A experience within cargo, or logistics sector is an advantage
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Financial modelling
    • Forecasting
    • Variance analysis
  • High proficiency in:
    • Excel (advanced modelling required)
    • ERP systems
    • Financial reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate operational data into financial insight
