Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position at the North-Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA).
SECURITY SUPERVISOR
The incumbent will be responsible for the operational supervision of the contracted security providers for the protection of staff, patients, visitors, property, information and the image of the Authority.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the security related policies, systems and strategies to ensure a secure environment within the health services and Institutions.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring the security policies and procedures of the Authority.
- Maintain a good working relationship with stakeholders (security contractors and law enforcement agencies).
- Draft and submit comprehensive detailed report writing when required.
- Monitor and report on the security providers’ performance to achieve efficient delivery of agreed tasks as specified in the scope of works.
- Assist in monitoring all outsourced service providers.
- Assist with conflict resolution in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Ensure the effective and efficient monitoring and reporting of the Security Services of the Authority.
- Ensure adherence to effective safety tips/precautions.
- Investigate all reports within the Authority.
- Conduct Security Risk Assessments throughout the Authority.
- Respond to all security infractions, e.g. bomb threats, larceny and other reports of crime.
- Assist in the orientation and training of all security personnel in the Authority.
- Monitoring all Closed Circuit Television Video (CCTV) systems and its operations.
- Flexible availability to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Perform related duties as directed by the organisational relationship.
Minimum Qualifications, Requirements and Experience:
- Diploma in Security Administration and Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a supervisory position in a recognized security establishment / Law Enforcement.
- Certification in Microsoft Office.
* Certificates acquired at foreign universities MUST be supported by certified transcripts as well as evidence that the completed programme is accredited in Trinidad and Tobago. *
