Job Summary

The Sector Marketing Manager leads the marketing strategy and execution across all brands and markets within the Construction Coatings Sector (Berger, Sissons, Penta). This role ensures regional brand consistency, creative excellence, and measurable marketing impact across trade, projects, automotive, and export channels. The position oversees a marketing team that includes Marketing Managers, Creative Designers, and Social Media Experts, driving alignment between business units.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and implement regional brand positioning and guidelines to ensure consistency across all markets.
  • Lead the development and execution of the annual marketing strategy for the Construction Sector, aligned with business unit revenue and growth objectives.
  • Manage and mentor Marketing Managers to deliver strong trade execution, retail visibility, and sales-driven marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the creative process for all marketing materials, including POS displays, packaging artwork, and social media graphics, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
  • Direct the Social Media Expert to plan, schedule, and optimize digital content calendars, ensuring consistent engagement across all brand pages.
  • Supervise any advertising agency relationship to ensure efficient media planning, creative output, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate product launches, promotions, and loyalty programs in collaboration with sales and trade marketing teams.
  • Develop and monitor monthly marketing calendars per business unit, ensuring activities align with both strategic priorities and available budgets.
  • Track and report marketing KPIs, including engagement, brand awareness, conversion, and marketing ROI with actionable insights.
  • Manage and control the sector marketing budget, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee label design and packaging approval processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and brand guidelines.
  • Liaise with R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure timely delivery of packaging and marketing materials.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with BU General Managers to evaluate campaign performance and future priorities.
  • Support market research and competitor intelligence to guide strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Champion digital transformation and data-driven marketing, using analytics tools to continuously improve campaign performance.
  • Ensure that all marketing communications reflect the values, quality, and leadership position of ANSA Coatings brands in the region.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in brand management, regional marketing, or trade marketing.
  • Expertise in agency management, media planning, and digital marketing execution
  • Strategic Thinking & Leadership – Align brand initiatives with business objectives.
  • Agency & Media Management – Lead advertising & marketing execution.
  • Sales & Trade Enablement – Ensure marketing efforts contribute to revenue.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Utilize analytics to optimize campaigns.
  • Project & Budget Management – Manage multiple campaigns efficiently.
  • Collaboration & Relationship Management – Work effectively with BUs, Sales Teams, and Agencies.
  • Ability to travel regionally to oversee brand execution across multiple territories.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, CRM systems, and marketing analytics tools.
